Membership Overview
Membership in the Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) is open to both public and private universities in Ghana that hold proper accreditation. This inclusivity ensures that a diverse range of institutions can contribute to and benefit from the association's activities. Only registered students from member institutions are eligible to participate in GUSA-sanctioned events or represent their universities in teams governed by GUSA, the West Africa University Games (WAUG), the Federation of African University Sports (FASU), and the International University Sports Federation (FISU). This policy promotes fair competition and upholds the integrity of university sports by ensuring that only enrolled students compete in these prestigious events.
