GUIDELINES FOR HOSTING GUSA MEETINGS

Types of meeting

  1. Scheduled
  2. Emergency
  3. Special Meetings – meetings held at sports events

 

  1. Order of Meetings at General Assembly:
    1. Student Committee – develop proposals for consideration of WC, TC and EC
    2. Committee for the Development of Female Sports – develop proposals for consideration of TC and EC
    3. Technical Committee – develop proposals and reports for consideration of EC. Student leaders may be required to be in attendance to present their proposals
    4. Executive Committee – develop proposals and reports for consideration of GC
    5. Games Council – consider proposals and reports

Proposals and reports to be considered at a meeting should be received by members at least 3 hours before the meeting. The following schedule may be followed:

Day 1: Arrival

Day 2: 9:00am-12:00pm: Student Committee

Day 2: 2:00pm-5:00pm: Women’s Commission

Day 2: 7:00pm-10:00pm: Technical Committee

Day 3: 8:00am-12:00pm: Technical Committee

Day 3: 3:00pm -6:00pm; 7:00pm-10:00pm: Executive Committee

Day 4: 10:00am-2:00pm: GUSA Council

Day 5: Departure
